Developing what is now the largest resort in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji with a budget of FJ$16 million, delivered on time, is something to be proud of. Plantation Island Resort officially opened the new development of their resort in September 2019, coinciding with their celebration of 50 years since first opening. NZ company Shade7 are delighted to have been part of the project, continuing their relationship with the resort. The development has included a new arrivals Bure, Tavola Restaurant & Bar, Tavola Pool, a new inflatable water park, as well as 40 brand new ocean view rooms. The additional hotel rooms have expanded their room total to 196, which earned them the status of being the largest resort in the Mamanuca Islands, which is home to roughly 20 resorts.
Upon arrival to Plantation Island Resort you’ll first come across Shade7’s beautiful outdoor furniture from their OceanWeave brand, situated in the arrivals bure. Part of the resort refurbishment included the placement of a wide range of high quality outdoor lounge furniture, dining sets and sun loungers for guests to enjoy.
