Westfield Albany, Shade7 Commercial Umbrellas

Westfield Albany Brightens With Tempests

One of New Zealand’s largest shopping centres have refurbished their outdoor area with the addition of six Tempest Commercial Umbrellas. Westfield Albany chose six of the 4m by 4m square Tempests to spread around the bustling outdoor area adjacent to the cafes and restaurants. Supplied in a bright Pistachio green acrylic canvas, these vibrant umbrellas offer an eye catching decor item as well as the practical sun and rain cover. Previously having supplied the Westfield Albany with six Tulip umbrellas, the retail giant happily returned to Shade7 to replace them as part of a recent refurbishment of that outdoor area.

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora Gain Space With Rivieras

Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora have added 8 Riviera umbrellas to their beautiful resort pool area. These cantilever umbrellas have increased the usable space of the area by removing the centre pole umbrellas with large bases that were previously taking up valuable space. Guests can now enjoy more room and flexibility as they relax on the sun loungers with the ability to easily rotate the umbrella to give shade or sun as they desire. Nicolas, Director of Food and Beverage, says the “Umbrellas have been installed, look great and guests love it.” The Riviera umbrellas are strong enough to handle the offshore winds and rain that coastal environments like these are subject to.

Tiger Beer Brand Takes On New Double Sided Printed Fibreglass Umbrella

Shade7 is proud to be working with DB Breweries to implement the new Tiger beer branding that is being launched. They selected our durable and lightweight Fibreglass umbrella for the project with a vision of having both sides printed. The printing was quite complex with screen printed acrylic on the top of the umbrella and dye sublimation printed polyester on the underside. This allowed for the complex mosaic design on the underside with 100% print coverage. The printed Fibreglass umbrella is an excellent branding and promotional tool, with volume based purchasing available for commercial customers.

Queens Wharf Brightens up with Tempest Umbrellas

Auckland City Council have upgraded Queens Wharf to make it a more family friendly and relaxing environment. As part of this upgrade Shade7 supplied 15 Tempest Umbrellas which were scattered around Queens Wharf, along The Cloud. The Tempest was chosen for it’s commercial strength and wind resistance. In keeping with the trendy style of Queens Wharf the umbrellas were fitted with orange, yellow and blue high strength PVC canopies. Visitors to Queens Wharf will be attracted by the new additions as well as benefiting from both sun and rain protection.

I can’t recommend these umbrellas enough… we now have 5!

“We now have 5 of these umbrellas, 2 at our holiday home on the Coromandel coast, and three at our property in Auckland. Both properties are very exposed, the holiday home being right on the sea. In our experience all of these umbrella designs are well made to withstand a large amount of wind without damage. The older umbrellas are 6 years old now and still look like new, even though they are exposed north facing on a large concrete deck 24/7, with just the covers over them. I can’t recommend these umbrellas enough, if you want to buy only one umbrella in your lifetime, I wouldn’t look past the Shade7 product, in my opinion there isn’t a better product in the NZ market.”
