Dubbed The Block NZ “Villa Wars” the new season follows four teams as they renovate an old villa into a modern home set to go to auction in Sandringham, Auckland. Every week viewers watch as each of these four teams convert both the inside and outside areas of their villa into a furnished home ready for new owners to move in.

The Block NZ pitches teams against each other with a variety of assignments and challenges for both the interior and exterior of their homes. While they work hard at the task to win along the way, the main goal is to generate the biggest profit. Every team will retain the profit that they make above the reserve price of their house and the team who makes the largest profit will also win an extra $100,000.
