Metlifecare have recently spent NZ$130 million developing another premium retirement village known as The Poynton. The new site situated in Takapuna, Auckland is a welcomed addition to their other 24 retirement villages located around New Zealand.
The Poynton offers upmarket retirement apartments with excellent facilities including a café, restaurant, hair salon, bowling green and indoor swimming, just to name a few.
Auckland based shade specialists Shade7 were approached to supply outdoor umbrellas for the bowling green area. The brief was to find a solution that would offer both shade and rain protection for their residents. Shade7 supplied Metlifecare with 10 of their large 3.5m square Tempest commercial outdoor umbrellas. Ordered in ‘charcoal tweed’, these umbrellas look superb, fitting nicely into these high class facilities.
Shade7 offer a range of residential and commercial outdoor umbrellas which are fitting for numerous areas and projects. The Tempest commercial umbrella is a giant outdoor umbrella engineered to withstand wind gusts of 80-100kph, making it suitable for exposed environments. A unique product feature is that multiple Tempest outdoor umbrellas can be joined together to offer continuous cover, using a removable gutter system.
The Tempest is available in two standard colours, charcoal tweed or ecru. It can also be ordered in a wide range of other fantastic acrylic or PVC colours to be suited to the decor or brand of the business, organisation or group. Additionally for maximum brand exposure and marketing, this outdoor umbrella can be printed on with assistance from Shade7’s design team.
Further information on the Tempest commercial outdoor umbrella can be found online or discussed directly with one of the team at Shade7.
