DB Breweries have been working with Shade7 to produce a printed umbrella to promote the new branding for one of their brands Tiger Beer. They selected one of Shade7’s latest additions, the Fibreglass umbrella, which offers a durable and lightweight solution for commercial environments. The vision was for a long lasting umbrella with printing on both sides of the umbrella. The printing itself was quite complex with screen printed acrylic on the top of the umbrella and dye sublimation printed polyester on the underside. This allowed for the complex mosaic design on the underside with 100% print coverage.
Shade7’s printed Fibreglass umbrellas are an excellent branding and promotional tool, with volume based purchasing available for commercial customers. There are two sizes available, a 1.9m square and a 2.7m Octagonal. They offer digital printing on their umbrellas and gazebo’s to allow maximum brand exposure for a brand or business.
Many beverage brands utilise outdoor sun umbrellas for promotions at cafes, restaurants and bars, and the new fibreglass umbrella is an ideal candidate for this use. The umbrella is much lighter than a wooden or full aluminium umbrella, but without compromising any strength. It can also be put up or taken down by only one person on site due to its light weight. The strong aluminium centre post also splits in the middle for easy transport and storage. The Fibreglass umbrella has been designed to bend and flex with windy environments, making it a durable long term solution for outdoor shade.
