New Zealand luxury shade company Shade7 have proudly designed and engineered their latest centre pole outdoor umbrella, the Monaco. Based on their top selling Riviera cantilever umbrella, the Monaco is a reflection of 15 years of experience exporting, designing and engineering premium quality outdoor umbrellas all over the world.
The Monaco has a beautiful modern design which blends strength and durability with elegance. Shade7 proudly uses high quality premium materials throughout their umbrellas and the Monaco is certainly no exception. The centre pole itself has been made using a strong 50mm thick anodised aluminium pole. The study arms and fittings feature a 12 micron marine grade anodised aluminium mast and arms, making it able to withstand the elements outdoors. The anodised aluminium framing will not flake away or scratch off like a painted surface would, ensuring a classy umbrella for many years.
This outdoor umbrella has been designed with ease in mind and can easily be opened and closed using a high quality rope and pin system. It utilises a heavy duty stainless steel pulley system which has been designed for frequent usage and also tough coastal surroundings. Commercial customers may require the umbrella to be frequently opened, closed and relocated and the umbrella has been constructed with this in mind.
New Zealand is renowned for its harsh sun, so Shade7 have ensured the fabrics offer excellent sun protection. The canopy fabric has been made from the highest quality of European crafted solution dyed acrylic canvas fabrics which are supported by a 5 year warranty against fading, rot and breakdown. The canvas fabric has a UPF80 rating, which is highest possible UV protection rating with the material blocking out the maximum amount of harmful UV light.
The Monaco will be released in Shade7’s two classic shapes, the square and octagon. The square will be available in 2.5m and 3.0m while the octagonal umbrellas are sized at 3.0m and 4.0m. The Monaco will also be stocked in Shade7’s two biggest selling colours, Charcoal Tweed and Ecru, with the option of selecting a custom colour from a wide range of alternatives. Customers can opt to mount the Monaco umbrella on a freestanding base, including a base with wheels; or it can be installed on an in-ground fitting on a concrete patio or wooden deck.
The Monaco outdoor umbrella is available for both retail and commercial purposes. Canopies can be printed on for marketing and branding exposure with Shade7 offering an in-house designed service and also volume based pricing for commercial orders.
